Why do you need a bokken bag?
As the bokken is a training weapon, it often has to be taken from home to training and back again.
Conventional rucksacks and sports bags are usually not long enough to accommodate one or even several bokken.
A bag made of fabric or other materials is therefore ideal for transporting a bokken quickly and easily. It is important that these are padded on the inside so that the wood of the bokken is not damaged. Under no circumstances should these bags have internal zips.
So nothing stands in the way of safe transport.
What types of bokken bags are there?
There are several different types of bags and pouches for bokken. The same bags are used for bokken as for real swords. The inside of the bag should always be additionally padded. In our shop you will find bags and pouches for transporting 1 to 3 bokken, as this corresponds to the normal number that you regularly transport from A to B. There are also differences in the outer material. The simplest and therefore cheapest version is a bag made of fabric.
Bags with solid outer materials are somewhat more durable and robust.
Traditionally, real swords were often kept in beautiful silk pouches with elaborate designs.
Such bags are also ideal for bokken, as they have a very attractive design and reliably protect the bokken.
