Schwarzes Bokken aus Polypropylen mit passender Schwertscheide.
Dieses Material aus Kunststoff macht das Schwert extrem robust. Es entspricht vom Gewicht, den Maßen, dem Handling einem regulären Bokken aus Holz, nur dass es nicht bricht. Das macht dieses Schwert perfekt für das Training.
Natürlich entspricht es vom Material her nicht den traditionellen Schwertern aus Holz, aber als sich die traditionellen Trainingsmethoden etabliert haben, gab es halt einfach noch keine Schwerter dieser Art.
Jedes Schwert wird mit einer stabilen Tsuba aus Hartplastik geliefert. Der Griff hat eine strukturierte, griffige Oberfläche, ähnlich wie bei einem Bokken mit Griffband.

A very beautiful and robust bokken. If the black on black is too boring for you, the bokken and tsuba can be easily decorated with Edding. However, due to the smooth plastic, the saya needs to be painted over once to ensure that the customised decoration sticks.
Practical: The bokken has a good weight, good ballance and is virtually indestructible. The saya seems a little fragile at first due to the thin plastic, but it can withstand a lot thanks to the flexibility of the material and can easily be reinforced with adhesive tape if necessary. In its basic form, it only holds the bokken as long as it is not tilted forwards. However, this can easily be remedied by sticking a strip of leather/tape or some artificial fur to the inside of the mouth of the sheath - this holds the bokken in all situations and is still easy to draw.
