Tsurumaru Katana Schwert mit Kranich Motiv und Sendan Schwertscheide mit Ishime Lackierung.
Das Tsurumaru Katana von Toshiro Swords hat eine charakteristische Tsuba mit dem Kranich mit Flügeln in runder Anordnung. Dieses Motiv trägt den eigenen Name Tsurumaru, ist eins der beliebtesten Motive in der japanischen Kunst und ist auch in japanischen Mon (Familienwappen) zu finden.
Das Schwert besitzt eine Shinogi Zukuri Klinge aus T10 Stahl mit Lehmhärtung. Sie ist scharf geschliffen und hat eine Härte von 60 HRC an der Schneide. Das Schwert ist für Schnittübungen mit Tatami Matten und Bambus ausgelegt.
In der Klinge wurde eine breite Bo-Hi Hohlkehle eingearbeitet für die Gewichtsoptimierung.
Die Schwertscheide ist mit einem Band aus Rattan verziert. Darüber und über den Rest der Schwertscheide wurde mit Ishime Technik lackiert, die eine Tropfenoptik auf der Schwertscheide hervorruft.
Die Ishime Gestaltung ist hervorragend für Gebrauchsschwerter geeignet, weil sich auf ihr kaum Fingerabdrücke bilden.
Der Griff ist aus Massivholz gefertigt und die breite Klingenangel wird im Griff durch zwei Mekugi gekontert, wodurch eine sehr gute Stabilität entsteht.

I received the Katana on time after 4 days and started by cutting up milk cartons.
This went without a hitch. The T10 blade is very sharp. The katana is very light and therefore makes clean and precise cuts possible.
When the mats (art. no. 5671) arrived, they were soaked for 24 hours and cut after draining (4.5 hours).
As an absolute beginner (you need a bit of skill), I was able to cut each mat into ten pieces without any problems for the first three mats. The Katana follows willingly. Nothing bends and even, and this is amazing, paper is still cut after three mats.
I can recommend this katana for beginners.

I received the sword just 2 days after my order!
Blade is very sharp, clean polish, hamon is clearly visible in the light. Weight is amazing: only 960g! Easy to swing even with one hand and makes a loud wind sound. The attachments are all tight, handle wrapping is really tight. Fit in the saya is good, but it is a bit too easy to pull out, which is easy to fix.
Oil was also included in the order free of charge.
Highly recommended sword for a fair price.
