This piece is a slender, elegant katana from the Koto sword era.
The jigane consists of itame mixed with mokume, active hataraki such as yubashiri and chikei, and utsuri. Kinsen is present in the ha. The hamon is an elegant, thin suguha with dense nioi.
The general condition of the sword is good, with a few deficits.
There is a black spot about 4 cm from the hamachi on the sashi-omote side.
There are also small rust spots on the blade at 22 cm and 31 cm from the kissaki on the sashi-ura side.
A forging line can also be seen at about centimetre 42 of the blade.
Koshirae: handle (tsuka) with black cotton ito and red lacquered saya. All koshirae fittings are in new condition and made of modern materials.
