The blade:
Forged by hand from high-quality 1045 carbon steel and through-hardened to a hardness of 45 HRC for good blade flexibility and hardness. It has a blood groove for weight optimisation and a ground hamon. Polished in the traditional way, which makes the blade very attractive and sharp!
The handle:
Made from solid wood for good stability and durability. Brown cotton handle band wrapped in the traditional way, this material offers 100%ight grip and absorbs sweat well. 2 mekugi provide a secure hold of the blade in the handle. Decorated with 2 golden menuki, motif: dragon
The saya (sword sheath):
Made of wood, matt black lacquered. With brown sageo (ribbon) made of cotton and golden shito domes (decoration at the eyelet opening).
Even the kashira (fittings at the end of the handle) and fuchi are worked out and decorated down to the smallest detail.

I received the Katana two days after ordering. Well done. As for the quality... The sword is solidly made, nothing rattles. Everything fits together well. Which really surprised me in this price range. Overall, a big plus in terms of workmanship and quality.
Tsuka and tsuba - quality comparable to more expensive swords, without any dishonour.
Habaki - a big minus here for the workmanship, it fits well but is scratched and sticky. (working hour, shines like the sun)
Sword blade - Well finished, with a small chip at the beginning and medium sharp. (Two more hours of work and the result was great, shiny and sharp for the price).
Saya - very well fitting, holds the sword perfectly.
The downside is unfortunately a large amount of glue and waste. (Another hour's work.) Painted glossy black.
Overall, for this price, this is a great katana to add to your collection.
You can skip those hours of your own labour by buying more expensive katanas if someone doesn't have those skills and willingness. However, if it's just for decoration, you don't have to do anything, it looks nice on the stand.
For my part, I would just like to add that it is worth ordering a sharpening service if we do not have manual skills, and then we can immediately enjoy a beautiful blade. This is my first purchase in this shop, but I bought a stand for 4 swords ... So my next purchases will definitely be with you, but something from the top shelf.
