Very beautiful and handsome tanto with a blade made of high-quality 1095 steel that has been clay-hardened.
A blade hardness of 60 HRC is achieved with the clay hardening technique. The blade has excellent cutting properties.
Only high-quality materials were used for the production, such as the solid wood for the handle.
The handle is connected to the tang with a wooden pin for a 1001TP3 firm grip. Two gold-coloured decorative elements have been incorporated as decoration. The knife sheath is painted black.
The tanto is made in the Hamidashi style, which means it is straight and has a small tsuba similar to its big brothers Wakizashi and Katana.

Wow, just wow.
I have been looking for a suitable and high quality tanto for a long time and luckily discovered this tanto. The price-performance ratio is simply fantastic, because it is really very well made for this price and with the additional sharpening (by the sharpening service) an absolute eye-catcher. The sharpness from the sharpening service is also really impressive and passed the paper test (went through an unstretched sheet of paper like butter and without tearing the paper) without any problems! Furthermore, it feels really good in the hand and the handle winding is still very tight even after long training sessions and various exercises.
I'm really fussy about buying tantos and katanas as I've had a bad experience with a katana from another brand, but I can only recommend this tanto!!!!

When I unpacked it, I was simply thrilled. For the price, the workmanship is excellent and even without additional sharpening, the blade is already relatively sharp. An absolute recommendation to anyone who wants a high-quality tanto and doesn't want to spend too much money. The blade was a little dirty, but this can be remedied with a quick clean and oiling.
