Product description:
The centrepiece of MAS swords is the Japanese blade made from L6 high-performance steel. This is then finished in South Korea and assembled with the other components to form a complete sword. The result is a sword of the highest quality at an unrivalled price.
L6 is a modern industrial steel with the best properties: it is light yet stable, hard but not brittle and hardly bends at all.
These are all properties that one would wish for in a sword, but which other types of steel do not offer in this combination.
L6 is difficult to process and this is precisely where MAS' special skills lie. Because heat treatment resulting in a usable, differential-hardened blade has so far only been achieved by the well-known master blacksmith Howard Clark and MAS.

If the status is "In stock", it means that we have the sword in stock and it can be ordered with the normal delivery time (a few working days after receipt of payment).
If the status is "Available for repeat order", this means that we do not currently have a copy in stock. You are still welcome to place a pre-order. Production will take approx. 12 weeks with this status. In this case, a deposit of 50% must be paid at the time of purchase.

Please ensure that the deposited recipient accepts the delivery in person and can prove their age with an ID card. The age and identity will be checked by the delivery service upon handover.
