A tachi was worn on the belt with the blade pointing downwards. As they were often used for ceremonial purposes, there are many splendidly decorated examples.<\/p>\n<p>The blade is blunt and the sword is intended for decorative purposes The carbon steel blade has the realistic look of a sharp blade. The sword is slightly curved, as is usual with samurai swords.<br \/>Top-class workmanship for the favourable price.<br \/>The wooden scabbard is painted blue with gold-coloured decoration.<\/p>\n<p>Epic Swords produces decorative swords for the German market. Other online offers are often produced for the American market and are still considered weapons in Germany despite having a blunt blade.
