\nPart of the three-part Daimyo series. Each sword in the series is dedicated to a lord of Japanese history.<\/p>\n
This sword shows T. Shingen: He ruled over Shinano and Kai. Born in 1521, Shingen was one of Japan's most legendary warlords. In battle, he wore magnificent, gold-decorated armour. Countless myths, legends and stories are told about T. Shingen. One well-known story, for example, is that Shingen did not even stand up to fight during an attack from his neighbouring state, even when an enemy invaded his palace. When he was attacked with a sword, he parried the blow with a fan and was ultimately victorious in battle!<\/p>\n
