Katana sword in honour of the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. Musashi is considered one of the best fighters of all time.<\/p>\n
The Musashi Katana from Toshiro Swords has a solid Shinogi Zukuri blade made from folded steel. The blade also has Niku, which makes it very stable and also suitable for very hard cutting targets.
The blade is sharpened and has a hardness of 60 HRC on the cutting edge. The blade is anchored in the handle with 2 Mekugi wooden pins for a good grip. The sword is designed for cutting exercises with tatami mats and bamboo.<\/p>\n
The handle is made of solid wood and the black synthetic fibre grip tape is wrapped in Katate Maki. A special technique also known as war wrapping.<\/p>\n
The sword is kept simple, in black with a simple double-ring tsuba. However, the massive blade with niku makes it a solid breaker. Just the way Musashi would have liked it.<\/p>\n
