The Nishikigoi (European short form: Koi) is one of the most important symbols of Asian mythology.
The reputation is based on the legend that the fish conquered the legendary Huang Ho River upstream and that the gods were so impressed by its willpower and strength that the koi was transformed into a mighty dragon at the end of its journey. The Nishikigoi therefore stands for everything that has to do with strength.<\/p>\n
Strong carbon steel with a high carbon content was chosen for the blade steel. It was forged in the traditional Shinogi Zukuri style. It is a Maru Kitae blade that has been fully hardened to approx. 55 HRC.<\/p>\n
Particularly high-quality materials were used for the sword. The elegant look is reminiscent of a museum exhibit. The included stand with the key data of the sword rounds off this impression.<\/p>\n
