\nThe O Kissaki sword from MAS lives up to its name and impresses with a particularly long blade tip.
\nThe design was inspired by the Master of Fire exhibition of contemporary swords in the Macau Museum.<\/p>\n
The centrepiece of MAS swords is the Japanese blade made from L6 high-performance steel. This is then finished in South Korea and assembled with the other components to form a complete sword. The result is a sword of the highest quality at an unrivalled price.<\/p>\n
L6 is a modern industrial steel with the best properties: it is light yet stable, hard but not brittle and hardly bends at all.
\nThese are all properties that one would wish for in a sword, but which other types of steel do not offer in this combination.
\nL6 is difficult to process and this is precisely where MAS' special skills lie. Because heat treatment resulting in a usable, differential-hardened blade has so far only been achieved by the well-known master blacksmith Howard Clark and MAS.<\/p>\n
The Koshirae is made of dark walnut wood with an elegant look.<\/p>\n
