Information about the forge:
Names: Kanemichi and Kanetoki (collaboration)
Real names: Tokijiro Kojima and Kanji Kojima
Kanemichi was born in 1902 and was a respected swordsmith. He was the father of the blacksmith Kanetoki. Kanetoki was born in 1925 and, like his father, was also a well-known swordsmith. They were both representatives of the swordsmiths from Seki and won numerous awards for their blacksmithing skills.
Information about the mount:
The blade is mounted in a classic katana mount. With black saya with high-gloss lacquer finish. The grip is made of black cotton. Very discreet overall look.
This sword is currently still in Japan. We will take care of the import handling (all costs including customs are included in the price) if you decide to buy it.
With the sword you will receive a copy of the Japanese weapons registration, which confirms that the sword has been registered as a genuine sword in Japan.
