Product description:
The blade:
Forged from high-quality 1045 carbon steel and hardened to a hardness of 45 HRC for good hardness and flexibility of the blade. The blade is polished, sharpened and has a ground-in hamon.
The handle:
Is made of sturdy solid wood, which ensures good stability and durability. The handle has inlays made from real ray skin (seed). The grip tape is black.
The scabbard:
It is made of wood and has a high-gloss lacquer finish. It has an extra recess into which the included by-knife (kozuka) is inserted. The strap on the scabbard is made of black cotton.

- Handle length: approx. 29 cm
The sword is suitable for cut tests due to its nature, because it has a continuous tang that is anchored in the handle with Mekugi. It can therefore be used for cutting tests with soft targets (e.g. fruit, PET bottles, etc.). However, we recommend having the blade additionally sharpened for this purpose.
