Product description:
Wooden peg for Tameshigiri stand.
In the course of samurai sword cutting exercises, it can easily happen that the tang breaks. All it takes is a little carelessness and if the cut is badly timed as a result, the cutting target is knocked away instead of being cut. This is completely normal and can also happen to advanced martial artists.
Unfortunately, the wooden holder (tenon) for the cutting target often breaks.
Nevertheless, we always recommend the use of wooden elements, as metal components can very quickly damage your sword.
If the wooden peg breaks, it can be replaced quickly with this replacement set.
The set contains 3 pegs. They are designed for the Tameshigiri stand and the outer holes of the 3-fold Tameshigiri stand from Toshiro Swords. However, they can also be combined with models from other manufacturers if they fit.
Dimensions: diameter approx. 1.5 cm, length approx. 16 cm (may vary slightly as each piece is made by hand)
