The blade is blunt and the sword is intended for decorative purposes. The carbon steel blades have the realistic look of a sharp blade. The sword is slightly curved, as is usual with samurai swords.

The fittings are made of metal and decorated in a silver colour. A dragon is carved on the wooden scabbard.
