The blade is not signed, it was attributed to the smith Ujifusa by the NBTHK in 1975 and has green Tokubetsu papers.
The Hada is Itame with very active Chikei and Yubashiri. The Hamon is Midare, with visible Nioi and Sunagashi.
The general condition of the blade is good, but there are some shortcomings that lead to the comparatively favourable price.
On the Sashiomote side, a layer of the steel layers on the hiraji is visible about 29.5 cm from the munemachi.
There is rust of about 3 mm on the shinogisuji, about 22 cm from the kissaki.
On the sashiura side there is a visible forging defect of 5 mm and an accompanying line on the jien (border between hamon and hiraji) about 18 cm from the munemachi. There are also rust spots on the mune.
The mount (Koshirae) also has green Tokubetsu Kicho papers! With red-brown lacquered scabbard with kizami and tsukaito made of silk, wrapped in tsumami-maki.
