Product description:
Bokken with matching plastic saya.
Bokken:
Bokken made of white oak for training in Japanese sword fighting.
The wood for this bokken from PTL-Sports is sourced in the USA or Canada, depending on availability. This makes a huge difference to most bokken on the market. This is because the wood for most bokken comes from Indonesia and Malaysia, where the local rainforest is cut down to produce the wood.
The wood is of excellent quality. The tsuba shown is included in the scope of delivery. Length: approx. 102.5 cm, weight: approx. 480 grams.
Saya:
Bokken sheath with Sageo, which enables strapping. In the pictures we have bound these as an example. It is supplied with the strap unbound.
The scabbard is ideal for practising sword drawing in various Budo disciplines and is indispensable in Iaido training.
The saya is made of shatterproof black plastic. The raised pattern gives it a high-quality and attractive appearance.
The saya is approx. 78cm long.
