Solid Iaito with steel blade and fixed handle winding.
With a blunt blade made of 1060 carbon steel, this training sword offers training just like with a real sword.
It is well balanced and the blade is countered with 2 Mekugi in the handle. Based on our experience, we recommend the following lengths. However, please also check with your dojo whether these are suitable for you.

Sehr gutes Iaito mit schön straffer Griffwicklung, die so in dieser Preisklasse alles andere als selbstverständlich ist. Die Bo-Hi ist breit und tief, dadurch hat es trotz Stahlklinge ein angenehmes Gewicht auch bei längeren Trainingseinheiten, und ist wie in der Beschreibung angegeben wirklich sehr schön ausbalanciert.
Es ist sehr schlicht gehalten, aber bei der Verarbeitung gibt es nichts zu meckern, ein solides Trainingsschwert ohne Schnickschnack.
Shito-Dome sind etwas zu klein für die Kurigata, daher sitzen sie nicht fest eingepresst. Verklebt sind sie ab Werk auch nicht, was ich aber persönlich als Vorteil sehe, da ich diese ohnehin lieber entferne, und so hat man keine unansehnlichen Klebstoff-Reste.
Mitgelieferte Sageo ist eher das Modell „breiter Baumwoll-Schnürsenkel“, allerdings finde ich das persönlich besser als die günstigen Kunstfaser-Sageo, die man in dieser Preisklasse normalerweise findet, da sie sich immerhin mehr wie eine hochwertige Sageo verhält, wenn auch nicht so aussieht und anfühlt.
Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man ein günstiges Einsteiger-Iaito sucht. Leistet mehr, als es kostet.
