This element is designed to prevent the sword or knife from slipping forwards out of the belt.
Made from horn. Made in Japan. Length approx. 3.2 cm, height (without block for fastening): approx. 1 cm. The block used to secure the element in the saya measures: 0.6 x 0.9 x 0.8 cm.
This element is missing from many modern samurai swords and is therefore ideal for retrofitting or for building a new saya.
