The motif is Musha. Musha is an umbrella term for all warriors, for example the samurai.
Set of two individual menuki. One depicts a warrior with a bow, the other a fighter with a naginata. Both are typical samurai weapons.
With gold-coloured decoration, beautifully finished to perfection, as you would expect from Japanese products.
