The blade:
Forged by hand from Damascus steel, with a polished hamon and attractive pattern.
With engraved characters on the blade. The characters signify: The warrior who manages to unite tradition and modernity is authorised to wield this sword.
The blade is sharpened!
The handle:
Made from solid wood for optimum stability and durability. With inlays made from real white ray skin.
Black grip tape made of synthetic fibre.
Connected to the tang by 2 mekugi for a 1001TP3 firm hold of the blade.
Top look thanks to 2 black Menuki, motif: dragon.
The saya (sword sheath):
Made of wood, painted black. With black sageo (strap) and gold-coloured shito dome (decoration on the eyelet opening).
The Tsuba:
Has the classic Last Samurai motif. This motif is a traditional Japanese motif and symbolises the chrysanthemum flower, which stands for immortality in Japan.
