Product description:
Bokken made of light-coloured beech with integrated Hi for training in Japanese sword fighting.
The wood for this bokken from PTL-Sports is sourced in the USA or Canada, depending on availability. This makes a huge difference to most bokken on the market. This is because the wood for most bokken comes from Indonesia and Malaysia, where the local rainforest is cut down to produce the wood.
This model has an integrated fuller. As with a real samurai sword, this has the effect of reducing the weight. Due to the Hi, the sword also makes a whistling sound when struck, which can also be used to control the execution of the techniques.
The wood is of excellent quality. The tsuba shown is included in the scope of delivery. Length: approx. 102.5 cm, weight: approx. 450 grams.

I searched:
A wooden katana like in the film, The Last Samurai with Tom Crusie, when he turned one in one hand.
I would like to learn this technique, and this sword is probably the closest to it, and it is made from sustainable wood.
Great performance, I'm thrilled!
Please keep up the good work and thank you very much.
A very satisfied customer 🙂
